What are fake followers?
Fake followers are bot or purchased accounts that inflate a creator’s follower count without adding real reach or engagement.
Fake followers make an account look more influential than it is. Because they don’t genuinely engage, they drag down engagement rate and distort the value of a paid post.
Kollab’s authenticity scoring detects fake-follower and inflated-engagement patterns, so brands can tell real influence from bought numbers before they pay.
