Kollab Reach Check

See if X is limiting your reach.

Reach Check reads your content the way X’s recommendation system does, grounded in X’s own published ranking parameters. Find out how distributable your posts are, and whether your account is being quietly dropped from recommendations.

Have your X “Under the Hood” export? Upload it for your exact applied labels:
How it works

Two ways to read your distribution

Distribution signal

From your public activity. We estimate how likely X is to spread your posts beyond your followers, based on the share of replies and reposts your content earns, how efficiently it converts reach, and your posting rhythm. Works for any account, with no data from you.

Applied labels

From your X transparency export. Upload the “Under the Hood” report X gives you and we show exactly which visibility labels are on your account and posts, including the account-level state where you are visible to followers but dropped from recommendations.

The methodology

How X actually ranks and filters

When X open-sourced its recommendation algorithm in August 2026, it published the exact signals its ranking uses. Reach Check is built on those published parameters. A few things that matter, and that most coverage gets wrong:

What we do not claim

Grounded, not guessed

Reach Check is grounded in X’s published ranking parameters. It is not a reproduction of your live X score, because the live system runs on model predictions and configuration X does not publish, and may route some accounts through a different scoring path entirely. The published values are defaults, and production can override them. We tell you what the signals say and where they come from, and we never pretend to be X’s internal number.

Common questions

What people get wrong

Does X reduce the reach of posts with links?

No. X’s open-source ranking has no general penalty for posting a link. The only URL-based suppression is a drop for links flagged as malicious. Opening a link is actually a small positive ranking signal.

Is a copy-link share worth 40 times a like?

No. X’s ranking weights multiply the predicted probability of each action, not counts. A large weight on a rare action is the price of its rarity, not a 40x multiplier on a common one.

What is a shadowban on X?

In X’s system it is account-level labels that drop you from out-of-network recommendations while you stay fully visible to your followers. X does not show you the filter. Reach Check surfaces that state from your transparency export.

Can Kollab tell me my exact X score?

No, and neither can anyone from the open-source code alone. Live ranking uses model predictions and configuration X does not publish, and may use a different scoring path entirely. Reach Check is grounded in X’s published ranking parameters, never presented as your literal X score.
